James A Holmes – Fantasy Fiction and the Imagination in Social Life

The Literature & Society Laboratory invites you to the lecture “Fantasy Fiction and the Imagination in Social Life” by James A Holmes (Deakin University, Australia) on April 11th 2024 at 16:00 CET.

James A Holmes is a scholar from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Deakin University, Australia. His highly original interdisciplinary research focuses on the intersection of fantasy fiction and social imagination. In his lecture, James will present his dissertation titled “Fantasy Fiction and the Imagination in Social Life.” The talk will be followed by a discussion about methodological and epistemological challenges James encountered during his research.
