The Fellowship is targeted at researchers working abroad in the areas of literature, literary biography, literary bibliography, literary theory and/or history in the Czech lands. The ZPF is preferably awarded to applicants whose projects align with research being pursued at the ICL.
The visiting fellowship is intended to finance the scholar’s stay for a maximum of four weeks at the ICL’s department in Prague or Brno. The ZPF aims to support the implementation of already developed research projects (e. g. books, studies, editions, doctoral theses) and to enhance cooperation with partners in the Consortium of Czech Literary Studies. There is therefore no need to develop a specific project for the application.
We are accepting applications until 30 April 2025 for stays taking place between June and November 2025.
