The Dvůr Králové and Zelená Hora manuscripts represent not only the most famous Czech hoaxes, but also for decades developed and defended images of the natural Czech past and its high value, which are influential till the present day. The monograph seeks a new, interdisciplinary approach to the Manuscripts as a phenomenon of the Romantic Nationalism in Europe and to their relations to the past as represented in current social discourses.
